Impressionist Style Seascape Collage

Fourth-grade students explored seascapes by Impressionist artists such as Claude Monet and Édouard Manet. They practiced emulating the Impressionist style—focusing on natural light and expressive, visible brushstrokes—while creating their backgrounds. To complete their compositions, they designed boats using collaged, hand-painted papers.
