Sleeping Cats

This art lesson inspired by the book Kitty Cat, Kitty Cat, Are you Waking Up is a lower school favorite! K-2 create a kitty cat to tuck into a “blanket” that they weave using paper. This project encompasses so many skills: tracing, drawing, cutting, paper weaving and most importantly - creativity!
